Celebrities like Drew Barrymore, Eva Mendes, Julia Roberts, Zooey Deschanel and Anne Hathaway have all opened up about their love for thrifting, vintage, second-hand clothes and re-wearing great looks.

Bella Hadid has been vocal about her love for second-hand pieces and revealed on Instagram that she also buys her clothes digitally, from re-sale sites in the US.

Musicians like Florence Welch, Lorde, Janelle Monae and SZA wear second-hand clothes in their shows and Macklemore made a damn SONG about thrift stores! Don’t pretend you don’t remember 2012 Triple J’s Hottest 100, yes you with the vodka cruisers.

Sarah Jessica Parker only buys second-hand clothes for her son, telling Vanity Fair that The True Cost (a documentary about labour conditions in the fashion industry) changed the way she shopped for her child.

And, Helen Mirren only travels with underwear and buys second-hand clothes when she arrives in each country. She also donates them back to another second-hand store when she leaves! So I’m not saying you could end up wearing Helen Mirrens top, but I’m not-not saying.
